been trail running in barefoot shoes for 3 years and these are genuinely the best pair i've tried. the zero drop feels totally natural after the first week and my ankles are noticeably stronger. did an 8 mile trail last weekend and my form was way better than usual — you just can't heel strike in these, your body won't let you. exactly what barefoot is supposed to do.

crossfit coach recommended i switch to barefoot for olympic lifts and i finally did it with these. the wide toe box is a game changer for squats — my toes actually spread and my balance on heavy cleans improved immediately. i also use them for box jumps and rope climbs and they grip really well. my knees stopped hurting after 2 weeks. wish i switched sooner honestly.

took these on a 12 mile hike in the cascades and my feet felt incredible. i've hiked in traditional boots my whole life and always had black toenails on the descents — not once with these. the ground feel is insane, you can actually feel every rock and root which sounds bad but it makes you so much more aware and stable. 4 stars only because the transition took about 3 weeks, go slow if you're new to barefoot.

i'm a yoga teacher and i wear these walking between classes all day. the flexibility of the sole is the closest thing to barefoot without actually being barefoot — my feet can move completely naturally. after 2 months my arches are stronger and i have way less tension in my calves at the end of the day. i also wear them on the mat sometimes for flow sessions and they're perfect for that too.

switched to barefoot running after a physio told me my IT band issues were from overpronating in padded shoes. started doing short runs in these, 2 miles then 4 then 6. now doing 10+ with zero knee pain. the forefoot strike you naturally develop is just biomechanically better — i feel it every single run. best running decision i've made in 10 years of running.

i'm a nurse and on my feet 12 hours a shift. my podiatrist actually suggested barefoot footwear to help rebuild my foot muscles after years of wearing cushioned clogs. been wearing these to and from work for 3 months and the difference is real — my plantar fasciitis is basically gone. the wide toe box lets my toes do what toes are supposed to do. i tell every colleague about these.

powerlifter here — deadlifts and squats in barefoot is the way and these are my go-to. the flat zero drop sole gives you maximum force transfer into the ground on heavy pulls. i hit a PR deadlift 2 weeks after switching and i'm fully convinced the shoe connection to the ground made a difference. my coach agrees. don't squat in cushioned shoes, it makes no sense.

bjj and muay thai 5x a week — wear these to and from the gym and for conditioning runs between sessions. the proprioception improvement from barefoot training is real and these shoes carry it into your daily movement. my footwork on the mat got sharper, my coaches noticed. also the transition from padded trainers to these fixed a chronic ankle issue i'd had for 2 years. shouldn't be surprised but i was.
